USHER MINISTRIES

“I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord.”
Psalm 122:1

We thank God for the opportunity to serve His people.
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.” Mark 10:45a.

As Ushers, our charge is to make every man, woman, boy and girl who enter this house for worship to feel welcome and at ease, which, when coupled with the Holy Spirit, helps to create an atmosphere for praise. As we serve in this capacity of what we believe to be our calling, we are “Glad to Be in God’s Service.” We count it all joy; “Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.”
